Kilpatrick Townsend Elevates Counsel In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (January 13, 2020) - Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the elevation of three San Francisco attorneys to Counsel effective January 1, 2020.

• Byron Chin is a member of the Patent Litigation Team. He is an intellectual property litigator with experience in patent litigation, inter partes review proceedings, complex business litigation, cybersecurity, and data privacy issues.
• Nesli Doran-Civan is a member of the Electronic Engineering & Software team. She focuses her practice on patent preparation and prosecution for a wide variety of technologies including aeronautical and mechanical systems along with electronics and software technologies.
• Kenneth Shurtz is a member of the Mechanical and Medical Devices team. He has considerable experience with advanced patent prosecution and portfolio development, vetting and defending portfolios for financing and M/A diligence, drafting opinions, and supporting patent litigation.
